3 weeks in 1

Woooow... last time I sent out an email life was pretty good for all of us. Now it's crazy, since New Orleans had the Rona BAAAAAD my mission president shipped Elder Kephart and I out of there and we are now up near Baton Rouge, in a small town called Brusly. The Rona is going crazy in Louisiana but we are going crazier, we realized last week that we could sit in our apartments and feel bad for ourselves OR... We could start GRINDING. So we did. We started calling up everyone in Area book and we asked them all if they would like to do some bible studies and a LOT of people are down for it because life is though for everyone. So we set up phone call appointments and then share bible verses and then slip in a few book of mormon verses and we have shared a lot of restoration lessons it has been AWESOME. We even got a sweet guy named nathan on date to be Baptized! But we told him we will have to plan on it to happen right after the Corona Virus dies down. So we have been seeing miracles out here, and to have fun we play board games or go on bike rides or we tan in the back yard. So we are thriving. We bike to the bayou or to the Mississippi river and it's pretty fun. I hope life is going alright for those of you still at home. Obviously it's tough right now but I'm holding on until Conference, we have seen many inspirational revelations from the Prophet, and I'm excited for what's to come. I hope yall are prepared for this amazing General Conference. Of you're not ready get on your knees, and start studying your books of mormon and catch up on your restoration knowledge, you're going to need it! Anyways I love yall and I'll see ya next week. Love Elder Wilson :) 1) Right now I'm living with Elder Ihrke, my high school buddy and MTC buddy. Life this last week

I'm gonna make this quick: Miracles- a lot Faith - stronger lol Testimony - gooder Happiness - like above average Joy - through the roof We had 2 less actives and an investigator come to church and they also went to a YSA activity which was sick because it was like an hour away and I dont think I would have even gone. We also met two guys who needed their bikes fixed so we fixed their bikes by a taco shop in new orleans and gave them each their own Books of Mormon. They were awesome and pretty promising. One of them bore his testimony to us in a rap song and his name was chad so he thought it was a sign of God that I would help fix his bike, and share the gospel with him and have his same name. Which it was. I've become a better missionary, I learned how to not only work harder but also work smarter. I learned to rely on the spirit more and hope to do so the rest of my mission. Its gonna be awesome lolz Love yall back at home. Stay smart stay safe and dont get that sickness everyone's talking about. Wash your hands in soap and water and wash your souls in Sacrament meeting this weekend. Love Elder Wilson 1) LSU CHAMPS LOLZ 2) End of the world out in the bayou 3) the flood gates to get out to the end of the world 4) chad and us fixin his bike 5) the new shoes someone bought for me

Suck it up

I'm doing a short email because I'm saying bye to some good missionaries and I want to spend more time with them. Anyways this week was pretty awesome, one of the ladies we are teaching called us friday morning and asked if we would come over and eat Blue Crabs with her and her husband. So we were totally down. I have the picture to prove it, I ate the crab eggs and crab legs and like everything in those crabs and I was like thinking about how gross it was while i was eating it and i realized I have come a loooooooong way. I was wayyyy too picky about what I ate back at home. But you learn things on the mish I guess. Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Just a thought for all you thinking life is TUFF and if you think you're lonely. If you honestly have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and know it to be true, you should fear nothing, and you should never feel alone. Because if you are to feel alone, or if you do fear, or if you do think that you are weak and think a challenge that you are facing is too hard... you are doubting GOD. let's not doubt our Father in Heaven, for we know what he is capable of. So buckle up. Life will be a breeze if you just put a little bit of faith in him. I miss you guys but like I'm already more than 1/4 of the way done so you'll be seeing me soon, so dont be sad. Love Elder Wilsonnnnnnnn baby 1) last lunch in New Orleans for Elder Folokwe and Elder Bahen (front 2) 2) i Elders Bahen Wilson and Folokwe infront of mural 3) l Blue Crabs *a Delicacy* 4) y Elder Norman slid on the leaves, did a full on 180 then flipped backwards over his bike and it was the funniest crash I have ever seen. That was a bad day tho
