Red Jeeps Police and TacoBellx2

OOOOOOHHHH BABY this week was so sick. First, a great story: Due to a ton of missionaries coming, we didnt have enough cars to allow them all to drive, so we rented a few cars lol. One of the cars we rented was a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, which is a pretty nice car. It is so sick so we drive it here in the office and it's been so fun. Driving with the roof off and what not. It's been a blast. But then this morning, the APs wanted to get Taco Bell breakfast on our way to the office, so they followed us in the jeep and we took the tundra to go get some Taco bell... So we are driving down this road to tacobell going a solid 45 mph we turn a slight corner and boom theres 3 cops in this parking lot, luckily Elder Niepraschk and I had a car in front of us and a car behind us, also doing 45. So one of the cops took after the guy behind us, but Elder Niepraschk accidentally took the wrong left so we watched the APs fly by going 45 and a cop right on their tail.... SOOOO FUNNY BECAUSE they looked at me like why are we getting pulled over? And Elder Niepraschk and I started dying. So I've got some good pics of that, they infact did get a ticket we dont know how much it will cost yet lol. So that was a funny thing that happened this morning. We actually had 2 separate transfers this week because we had 2 groups of missionaries fly in, one on thursday and one on Saturday, so it was so crazy planning for transfers and making sure everyone knew where they needed to go and all that stuff. But I was able to drive down to New Orleans and my old area Chalmette which was so sick and brought back so many memories. During the thursday transfer we decided, because the flights were coming in so late and we had to drive the missionaries 3 hours to the transfer point, that we would take 3 cars and the big Van and pick them up then drive them to the transfer point. So I was able to take one of the cars and the Aps took the other cars and we put 2 elders in each of our cars and then filled the van and all drive from the Baton Rouge Airport, to Jackson Mississippi to drop them off. It was so fun to get to know them. When we finally made it to jackson the other missionaries were there and got their new companions and their new cars and we sent them off. Then we all got in President Varners Van and it was already 10pm.... and we were in Jackson Mississippi and we were all STARVING. So we started driving back to Baton Rouge and saw a tacobell and so sister Varner is so cute and remembered that I love taco bell. So President and Sister Varner took us through TacoBell drive through in Jackson at like 10:30 and president tried to order stuff off the menu but he couldnt pronounce ANYTHUNG correctly and it was the funniest thing of my life. But that drive home was so cool because he just told us soooo much about revelation and consecrated missionaries and everything hes learned from being a mission president in the past 3 years. It was awesome. Except we didnt get home until 1 and we still wome up at 6:30 the next morning so I was WRECKED. Anyways I'll leave yall with a simple thought from Alma 5:14. In this verse there are 3 great questions asked: "Have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?" I have been reflecting on these verses a lot lately, and all other 35 questions in that chapter, but these 3 stick out because they are simple. If you can honestly answer each of those questions about yourself, it's a good way to see where you're at, and where you need to be going. Love you GUYS Love ELDER WILSONNNN 1) red jeep n police 2) mr speedy 3) airport again baby PS: My address is: 25367 Riverton Ave Denham Springs, LA 70726 And it probably will be for a WHILE.

Craziest week of my life

So much work yet so much fun in this past week. It's been crazy. So president took us through his transfer plans last monday in our meeting so we knew where all the new missionaries were going. So then we took that and ran with it. I took a lap through 2 whole zones all day tuesday and I had planned to sleep in a town called Natchitoches (pronounced Nakadish) but as soon as we walked in to the apartment I turned on the lights and hundreds of black things just scattered all over the floor and I could see them on the walls and I was soooo grossed out. We realized they were small roaches and there were lots of big cockroaches too everywhere and Elder Fualalo opened the fridge and a bunch flew out and so I came to the quick decision that I was not about to sleep with tons of cockroaches crawling over me if I have the choice. So we called the Winnfield elders and told them we would be there in an hour or so, which would mean we would get there at 11:30. So they left the door unlocked. When we got to winnfield we plopped down on their nasty mattresses and because we didnt have any pillows or blankets I just used a towel to separate my body and the nasty mattress. But I was happy to at least have a mattress to sleep on. The next day we made it all the way to El Dorado, Arkansas then back through Louisiana and we were back in Denham Springs that night. A TON of driving but it was so fun to see all the missionaries and all my friends. Transfer day was so much fun, except on the way to pick up the new missionaries there was a BAD storm. We walked in and picked all 20 of these missionaries who have already served missions and they knew what was up. So it was pretty easy because nobody was lost or confused. But it was cool to see a fellow Lone Peak Knight Elder Taylor there at the airport, then he drove with me to his area. That was sick. But really my week consisted of a LOT of driving and preparing for that big day. Then when it hit, IT HIT. We were exaughsted. But something I wanna leave with yall in this crazy message is that the Lords hand is EVIDENT in all of this. There are so many miracles in all of this. I am witnessing that He WANTS HIS MISSIONARIES OUT AND HES MAKING IT HAPPEN. So I'm lucky enough to be a part of this and see these miracles first hand. So fun! So I'm sure you are all seeing some pretty crazy miracles in all of this as well. Keep your eyes open because they are happening! I love yall Love Elder Wilson 1)Airplane landing place 2)ditto, but in the rain 3)Louisiana purty (we saw a gator in there) 4)Dinner after transfer 5)Mom I love you and you know I'm grateful for you and you know I miss you so so much you're amazing.

Hecken crazy baby

This week has been SOO FUN. So last Pday my mission President had a meeting with like the Sr. Couples that are still here and the APs and my comp and I, and he told us that we only had 130 missionaries right now but in the next month or so we will be more than DOUBLING our missionaries to 280 missionaries. And there were so many miracles that went into him figuring out if we can even hold that many missionaries. It was so cool. But then I was busy from that point until now figuring out how I was to get beds into every apartment for those missionaries. So I spent all day friday and Saturday buying mattresses at Sam's Clubs all over Louisiana and Mississippi then dropping them off at missionary apartments. It's been so fun to see all my mission buddies and hang out in their apartments for a sec, because everyone is like super depressed as a missionary right now but then when I showed up with the bedding for the new missionaries it made everyone so happy and excited haha so cool. But yeah that's what I was doing all last week, but my Mission President called for another meeting today, so in about 45 minutes hes probably going to drop another bomb on us and I'll be SWAMPED for this next week. Which I already am because I have 5 more zones to drop beds off at, it doesnt help that my mission is one of the bigger ones in the US. And then when the new missionaries come in I have to be there and I'm picking them up. So it's going to be another crazy week but I'm so excited. I love it right now. I'm completely out of time but I'll share more next week when I have time. LIFE IS GOOD. GOD IS GREAT. GAS PRICES ARE CRAZY. LOVE Elder Wilson baby 1) guy mowing the train track 2)this was #1 of 5 Sam's clubs, we cleared out ever Sam's club we went to. 3)we let the whole squad help us take 8 cars to the dealership then one of the sister bought us all lunch 4)yeaaaaaa baby

Stepping stones and Alone time

Hey this is going to be quick because I technically don't get P-days anymore haha. So a lot of fun stuff has happened this week. I have taken a ton of road trips to different areas in my mission in Mississippi and in Louisiana which has been so fun! I have gotten to see a ton of other missionaries! (Who have all been quarantined for a month so they are safe!) And another sweet part is I'm actually allowed to drive BY MYSELF. My companion is driving the Tundra right behind me, but nothing is better than just being alone for 2 hours straight in a car. Its soooo nice. Also the weather is getting a lot warmer too. Like it was already pretty warm so I guess I should say it's getting pretty hot, and there are frogs and lizards EVERYWHERE. I had a frog jump right at my face yesterday. I literally dodged it in the coolest way though. Like it felt cool, but if anyone saw they wouldn't think the way my body maneuvered, was necessarily the most normal. Anyways my Grandma Wilson shared with me a talk from Dallin H. Oak at a BYU Devotional given on January 17, 1995 on Adversity. She shared with me this comment: "Adversity can become a 'stumbling block' or a 'stepping stone' depending on how we handle what is given us. The Lord sends adversity to send messages to his children. 'JUST FACE LIFE'S CHALLENGES' I loved this message. It's so true because every one of us gets thrown a few lemons and we forget to make lemonade, instead we are out here just sitting in our rooms bored out of our minds throwing the lemons up and letting them hit us in the face on their way back down. Like come on. Yeah life isnt the same, but does that mean we just pause it? And just feel bad for ourselves? Wait until we are "allowed" back outside? Like life is still fun we have technology to see the faces of our loved ones. We have life to live let's not waste these next few weeks. I think God is inviting everyone to sit up, think for a second on what we THOUGHT was most important in our lives and hes asking us to CHANGE it. This is a perfect opportunity for each of us to change. Get out of bad habits and get into good ones. The Coronavirus should most definitely be a STEPPING stone in each of our lives rather than a STUMBLING stone. And although certain circumstances make it seem impossible for this to be a good thing. It's all your mindset. You cannot tell me otherwise. Dont even try. Christ is with us, He knows how you feel and He knows how to help you. It's up to you to make this your stepping stone. Love yall stay sweet! -Elder Wilson 1) Office bday party for me 2)Balloon with sparkles popped and I wasnt having it 3)My new Truck baby
